VIS

Our highest level operator system is the VIS and it offers maximum functionality and flexibility. It can control a multitude of inspection devices.

The VIS platform incorporates a 12” colour TFT touchscreen within a freestanding stainless steel console. This console can act as the master for various inspection functions on a production line connected in a ‘daisy chain’.

Connections to its inspection modules are made via an umbilical cable, allowing inspection devices to be freely mounted in the most advantageous locations. There are three standard floor mounted console options to suit individual production line requirements.

In common with all our touch screen HMIs the 12” screen provides a clear interactive user interface with a full management information suite, self-diagnostics, on-screen help. The VIS is capable of supporting up to sixteen camera inspection modules using the touchscreen as a VDU and programming medium.

All our VIS touch screen operator surfaces have a sophisticated password protection. They can also have the capability to export data, via a suitable interface, to external PC based systems for statistical analysis.
