Label verification

Mapex Inspection supplies products that confirm correct label dress.

Using a camera array it is possible to detect specific label features and/or SKU codes to ensure the product conforms to the specification. Label verification is generally performed where presentation is consistent (for example, in a labeller).

The configuration of Mapex Inspection systems is such that multiple cameras can be used to inspect different labels and different zones. Systems are capable of storing >1000 inspection programmes on a memory card. Programme selection is via a menu structure on the HMI. Because the memory cards are interchangeable, this function also protects software programmes from hardware failure.
