A new Service Engineer has been appointed in Scotland to support the growing installed base of Mapex Inspection equipment.

Starting 1st September 2011, Stephen Skelton will work directly for Aldo Pezzani (Scottish Technical Director) based at our Hillington facility in Glasgow.

We are very pleased to have such a capable individual joining us to support our customers in the field.

Chivas Bros. of Dumbarton and Paisley have completed the purchase of a further five (5) Mapex V4 label inspection systems for their prestige spirits bottling lines in Scotland.

In addition they have introduced ID matrix confirmation of the correct label using a handheld scanner to teach the inspection system and a labeller mounted scanner to confirm the presence of the correct label on the bottle. This follows concerns over identifying minute variations in Scotch Whisky sku labelling for destinations around the world.
